Hi there! I'm Kelly Ann Collins - aka KAC. 👋 I am a communications expert and entrepreneur who invests in, leads, and launches projects focused on helping our world. Also an Official Twitter Creator and Twitter Spaces Host, I host conversations on Web3 innovation and creativity.
Throughout my career I have worked with hundreds of brands and thousands of celebrities to launch, reinvent, position, amplify and dominate.
My companies and I have masterminded and executed hundreds of projects, campaigns and brands—and generated billions of impressions and millions of blog visits, likes, retweets and views for a wide array of organizations. Notable work includes projects involving Adobe, CBS, CNET, Disney, Jamba Juice, Starbucks, NMQF, UN, and The Royal Foundation of The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge. We have also worked with numerous celebrities to help drive awareness to important issues.
How it started: I began my career in journalism at The Associated Press, Pittsburgh Tribune-Review and USA Today. Early in my career I also launched a weekly print news publication, a pop culture-meets-politics blog with 3 million monthly readers, and an emerging markets telecom intelligence publication.
How it's going: A few years ago, I was on a team that won a Cannes Golden Lion Award (a.k.a. "the Oscar of advertising") for a video we used in a social media campaign. I have ghostwritten for several A-list celebrities and top-level CEOs. At one point I worked for American Idol (and breakfasted) with Ryan Seacrest. I also worked to help launch AOL co-founder Steve Case’s Revolution. Not too long ago I helped take the United Nations live and social (!) as a part of the "SDG Zone" launch team. In 2020, I was picked by the United Nations' World Food Program USA as an Ambassador for Good. In 2021, I was named one of the top 100 businesswomen by Inc Magazine. Also in 2021, Twitter Spaces chose me to join its inaugural cohort of supported Spaces hosts / creators.
At The White House - on this day I was a guest for the first-ever USA tweetup!
Here I am having some Twitter fun at Collision Conference. My cousin Jerod and I developed a social media tool that predicted Twitter trends, which we partnered with Wix back in 2015-ish.
That time I was a poster child for cybersecurity at FBI HQ in DC. Don't ask, I won't tell. lol
Here's me on Canadian TV in 2016, getting asked about political social media.
Pre-COVID, my team and I used to travel around the globe in search of new cool innovations, partners and, well, fun.
Hanging with Steve O at his book launch!
Failed speechwriting duty in Vegas, baby. Keynote, yo, yo. :-D
Swiping M&Ms and stationary from the Obama Admin. :-p
In Richmond, Va., right after Steve Case launched his "The Third Wave" book.
Here's my POV at an LMFAO event in NYC. I met them in DC (via Twitter, accidentally, actually) then we ended up bumping into each other kinda often in different cities. Love these guys. Not work-related, just fun travel bros.
My team and I have produced and promoted literally thousands of events - both offline and online. Here's me at one in-person event in DC with one of my faves, Steve Aoki.
Schmoozing at Saylor's Oscars party.
My blog covered "the softer side of" politics. Here I am with Herman Cain on the presidential campaign trail. He was a ton of fun. Lots of laughs.
We covered GOP and Dems. Here we are at an event with Mrs. Obama. The Obama Administration was very accommodating. In fact, my blog (which was lifestyle-focused) was the first one to ever get WH credentials.
Breathing the same air as Obama at The White House. My blog was the first one in history to get White House press credentials. My team and I had nothing but great experiences with the Obama Administration.
And here's me, in 2011, asking Trump if he thought he might run for POTUS someday based on some rumors I'd heard. He nicknamed me "Glamour Girl" and kinda grumbled every time he saw me. lol
Throwback to hosting an event with Blink 182.

And then trying to hijack some NYFW clothing from Betsey because I "had nothing to wear." lol
Broke my toe, in a wheelchair @ The White House.
Trying to get Steve O to put some clothing on. :-p
